I have written tons and tons of mails to htc care and they simply say when it is available we will let you know.. This is a bull shit reply.
I think Airtel has some restrictions on this mobile. Thats why HTC is not intrested in releasing there new firmware.

Hello all,
Just wanted to post the updates I’ve so far received a number of pre-type help-desk database replies so far. I happen to have a cousin who happens to be a Freelance writer for some of the prominent tech magazines in India. he explained that if they keep up with the above replies then after new year he will see if he can get a bit more light on to this issue with a couple of reviews on the same.

Personally I’m outraged that htc has been slacking to post a firmware update on a product they released in the market ages ago. Especially considering the gravity of the problem this should have been done months ago.

I promise that I won’t be recommending a product from htc ever again. If you want an Android phone just like the above author posted buy some phone from the grey market and root it. Or if you can wait for the Droid or some other company to come out with their products. If you can’t wait see if you can get one from outside of India.
